Job summary

Jobot in Boston is seeking an attorney with 3–6 years of corporate transactional experience to join a top-ranked corporate practice focused on M&A, private equity and capital markets. You will work on sophisticated transactions, advise public and private companies, and collaborate with partners.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of corporate transactional experience at a law firm.
• Experience handling mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, or other sophisticated corporate transactions.
• Strong understanding of corporate governance and general corporate law.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Outstanding academic credentials.

• Represent public and private companies, private equity sponsors, investment funds, and emerging growth businesses in a variety of transactional matters.
• Draft and negotiate purchase agreements, financing documents, shareholder agreements, and other transaction-related documents.
• Counsel clients on corporate governance, securities compliance, and general corporate matters.
• Conduct legal due diligence and assist in managing all phases of complex transactions.
• Build strong client relationships while collaborating with attorneys across multiple practice areas.

Job Details

This role is ideal for an attorney with experience advising public and private companies, private equity firms, investors, and other sophisticated business clients on a wide range of transactional matters. The successful candidate will work on complex mergers and acquisitions, financing transactions, corporate governance matters, and general corporate counseling while collaborating closely with senior attorneys and clients.
