The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Corporate & Travel Industry Sales Manager an exciting opportunity to be part of Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences Nashville!

The Corporate & Travel Industry Sales Manager (CTISM) is responsible for driving transient revenue through the solicitation and servicing of corporate and leisure travel accounts across key markets. This role focuses on strategic business development, high-impact relationship management, and effective account planning to generate room nights, maximize RevPAR, and support overall hotel profitability.

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Sales & Business Development

  • Proactively solicit and confirm business from travel agencies and corporate clients.
  • Develop and maintain a strategic target account list, with a focus on high-value opportunities.
  • Manage the annual RFP process for key accounts, including pricing and program inclusion strategies.
  • Conduct outside sales calls, trade shows, site inspections, fam trips, and client entertainment.
  • Utilize tools such as Hotelligence, Opera BI, and internal systems to identify and secure new business.
  • Collaborate with the Worldwide Sales Office (WSO) and participate in global sales initiatives.

Sales Execution & Effectiveness

  • Maintain strong product knowledge of the property and competitive landscape.
  • Achieve sales goals and conversion metrics through effective selling techniques.
  • Ensure proper Delphi hygiene, documentation, and follow-up on all leads and bookings.
  • Serve as a liaison between clients and operations teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Represent the hotel professionally in all interactions and foster repeat business.

Internal Collaboration & Community Involvement

  • Collaborate within the Shared Services model with Four Seasons Hotel Denver.
  • Engage in local travel and business organizations to enhance hotel visibility and community presence.
  • Work closely with the Reservations, Revenue, PR, and Marketing teams to align on goals.

Administrative Duties (

  • Participate in regular sales meetings and pipeline reviews.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and action plans as required.
  • Support the Sales & Marketing team with special projects and hotel initiatives.
  • Create and execute strategic account plans for top-producing accounts.

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Keep supervisors informed of any and all potential problems so corrective action can be taken where needed.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and conduct personal behaviour in a mature professional business manner where representing the hotel or company.
  • Be a sound analyzer and problem solver.
  • Be a do-er and implementer.
  • Be a team member and assist as needed within department or hotel.
  • Develop and use good acumen and be a good business operator.
  • Communicate industry trends or market data as needed to better understand our marketplace and business.
  • Have a strong attention to detail, monitor quality and be obsessively service oriented.
  • Be versatile and flexible and maintain composure during stressful times.
  • Manage, coach and guide assistant.
  • Receive and share constructive criticism.
  • Have interpersonal sensitivity.
  • Respond to hotel safety or emergency situations.
  • Perform tasks as assigned by hotel management or staff.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

Education: College degree preferably specializing in hotel/restaurant management, hotel event sales or equivalent experience is required.

Experience: Proven track record of three or more years in a management position in Sales or Operations in a luxury environment.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Requires a working knowledge of division operations as well as Four Seasons cultural and core standards, policies, and standard operating procedures. Working knowledge is generally learned on-the-job.
  • Knowledge of sales, events , finance , operations, cost control, labor control, maintenance, merchandising, and accounting.
  • Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.

Travel required: Some travel for conferences or client developments.

Hours required: Eight to ten hours shifts; scheduled days and work hours may vary based on need.
