Job summary

Atlas Search is seeking a Management Company Operations Specialist to own key accounting and operational processes for a private equity management company. You will work closely with the private equity finance team, manage intercompany accounting, invoicing, and settlements, and ensure accurate reconciliations and timely collections.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of accounting operations, billing, accounts payable/receivable, or intercompany accounting.
• Hands-on NetSuite experience is required, including reimbursable expenses, transaction processing, and reporting.
• Strong Excel skills and experience reconciling balance sheet accounts.

Responsibilities

• Manage intercompany accounting, invoicing, and settlements between the management company and its funds.
• Own accounts receivable balances, reconciliations, aging reports, and collections.
• Prepare and issue invoices to portfolio companies for reimbursable expenses and management-related fees.
• Maintain supporting schedules and reconcile transactions to the general ledger.
• Oversee vendor setup, invoice processing, and payment approval workflows.
• Maintain vendor tax documentation and assist with annual 1099 preparation.
• Work extensively in NetSuite to maintain accurate financial records and reporting.
• Identify outstanding balances, resolve discrepancies, and help keep accounting processes running smoothly.

They're looking for an experienced Management Company Operations Specialist to take ownership of key accounting and operational processes for a private equity management company.

What We're Looking For

• Strong Excel skills and experience reconciling balance sheet accounts.
• Experience managing receivables, invoicing, and collections.
• Comfortable communicating directly with internal and external stakeholders.
• Self-sufficient, organized, and able to manage recurring deadlines independently.

Experience within private equity, alternative investments, financial services, or professional services is preferred, but not required.
