Greystar invites applications for a Corporate Accounting Intern in Tampa, FL. The 10-week summer program offers hands-on exposure to journal entries, financial statements, and invoice approvals within a leading ERP system.
You’ll participate in training, collaborate with senior staff on reports, and support cross-team projects. A strong quantitative background and proficiency with MS Office are preferred, with graduation planned for Dec 2027–May 2028.

As a Corporate Accounting Intern, you'll experience the many job responsibilities of an Accountant at Greystar, including preparing journal entries, reviewing financial statements, approving invoices, and working within a leading ERP system.
Learn the line of business, day-to-day team responsibilities, and how it functions within the broader real estate business.
Complete in-house training programs for various applications and operational techniques.
Work closely with senior team members to complete various financial, administrative, and other reports and analysis as assigned.
Support special projects that require building relationships and partnering with other Greystar teams to reach goals.
Create documentation outlining processes, procedures, programs, testing/review results, etc.
Conduct research and prepare an assessment of a conceptual idea within the department.
Curiosity and a desire to learn.
Quantitative background that demonstrates analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, and capability to articulate complex topics.
High standard of accuracy, attention to detail, and adherence to deadlines.
Preferred major: Accounting.
Graduating between December 2027 and May 2028.

The compensation for this position is $26.75/hour.
Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including business requirements, prior experience, current skills and geographical location.
Corporate Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in a quarterly or annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.
Onsite Property Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.
