MCI is a leading tech-enabled business services company in the US seeking an accountant to oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, records maintenance, and an effective control framework to mitigate risk and ensure GAAP compliance.

The role covers AR, journal entries, month-end close, reconciliations, and collaboration with peers across departments. A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and 1–2 years of accrual accounting experience are preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• 1-2 years accrual basis accounting including AR, journal entries, month-end closing and reconciliation.
• Regular and reliable attendance is essential.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills across organization levels.
• Demonstrates ability to plan, organize and manage projects.
• Detail-oriented with proofreading and editing skills.

Responsabilidades

• Performs Accounts Receivable functions including invoicing, manual check application, aging reports, and account reconciliation.
• Enters routine journal entries and bank transactions.
• Enters AP bills and credit card transactions if needed.
• Performs month-end closing and reconciliation.
• Reconciles, investigates, corrects, and adjusts accounting information.
• Performs bank reconciliation.
• Supports department peers as needed.
