Corporate Accountant

Primary responsibilities of the Corporate Accountant role:

Preparation of journal entries associated with daily transactions / accruals, account recons and analysis
Perform month-end, quarterly and annual close functions
Assist with entering accounts payable and receivable transactions
Analyze financial information to prepare entries, reconcile accounts and provide management reports
Communicate with internal and external stakeholders
Seek out opportunities to improve accounting processes, where necessary
Interpretation of accounting guidance related to complex transactions
Liaison to internal and external auditors
Other ad-hoc requests, as requested by management

Primary qualifications include:

Bachelor’s in Accounting
2+ years of general ledger accounting experience
Thorough knowledge of GAAP
ERP system experience
