Lennar is seeking a Legal Counsel - Litigation to be a key partner to divisional leaders and internal teams. You will evaluate claims, resolve disputes, manage risk, and address legal issues on the front lines of a large homebuilder’s operations.
You'll work with Assistant General Counsels, senior attorneys, and risk teams to grow your experience, appearing in court when appropriate and guiding matters with practical business judgment in a fast-moving environment.

This is more than an opportunity to review documents and research case law. As Legal Counsel - Litigation, you will be close to the business and on the front lines of legal matters impacting Lennar's divisions every day. You will partner directly with divisional leaders and internal business teams to evaluate claims, resolve disputes, manage risk, and address legal issues before they escal. You will have the opportunity to take ownership of matters, develop your legal judgment, appear in court when appropriate, and learn how an in-house legal team balances legal risk with real-world business objectives.
You will work closely with experienced Assistant General Counsels, senior attorneys, paralegals, Risk, and divisional stakeholders. As your experience grows, so will the complexity and ownership of the matters you handle.

Please note Lennar Legal department has a 4/1 hybrid schedule.
This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the incumbent to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.
