The Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Neurosciences at the University of Minnesota is seeking full-time, board-certified/eligible Ophthalmologists with fellowship training in Cornea and External Disease and Refractive Surgery to join our multispecialty academic group.

We offer potential leadership roles, opportunities to expand refractive surgery services, and a strong commitment to education, research, and patient access in the Twin Cities region and beyond.

Qualifications

• Board-certified/eligible in Ophthalmology.
• Fellowship training in Cornea and External Disease and Refractive Surgery.
• Academic appointment and teaching responsibilities.
• Minnesota licensure and DEA eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient and inpatient ophthalmic care to patients.
• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations.
• Educate medical students, residents and fellows.
• Lead clinical research and quality-improvement initiatives.
• Perform eye surgeries and related treatments; manage division/department duties.
