Job summary

Truist is seeking a Senior Technology Governance professional in Charlotte, NC to lead complex governance initiatives and advise executives on technology risk posture and control effectiveness. This in-office role emphasizes strong governance design and remediation strategies.

You will mentor other governance professionals, design enterprise frameworks, and guide remediation for significant risk issues while collaborating with senior leaders across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in IT, information security, engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in technology governance or related disciplines.
• Demonstrated expertise in regulatory requirements and control frameworks.

Serves as a senior subject matter expert for technology governance, leading complex governance initiatives and providing authoritative guidance across the organization to strengthen the technology control environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Security, Engineering, or related field.
• Extensive experience in technology governance or related disciplines.
• Demonstrated expertise in regulatory requirements and control frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant technical or business discipline.
• Experience in the financial services industry.
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, Networking and Cloud Certifications (e.g. Microsoft, AWS, or equivalent).
• Strong and Expert knowledge of CTO technology capabilities, processes and frameworks related to as SDLC/TDLC, Incident and Problem Management, CI/CD, Cloud Technologies, Networking and Storage technologies, understanding of Enterprise Architecture principles,
• Proven ability to manage complex technology governance projects, programs, and initiatives.

The annual base salary for this position is $150,000 - $175,000
