Job summary

Hycroft Mining Holding Corporation is seeking a Core Shed Supervisor to oversee drilling, sample collection, preparation, storage and shipping activities. The role will lead the team to align daily tasks with Hycroft’s values and project goals.

You will provide safety leadership, mentor core shed personnel and coordinate with contractors and other departments to ensure efficient progress while maintaining thorough records and compliance with all policies.

Qualifications

• Five+ years experience in an exploration sample processing environment.
• Strong verbal, written, analytical and persuasive skills.
• General understanding of mining operations and knowledge of processing/maintenance operations.
• Proficient with word processing, spreadsheets, databases and presentation software.
• Ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees and management.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety leadership to meet Hycroft’s safe workplace expectations.
• Perform and monitor all aspects of sampling core and RC drilling.
• Coordinate logistics for sampling, shipping and storage tasks.
• Mentor and develop core shed personnel.
• Interface with contractors and other departments to achieve project goals.
• Monitor and improve routine procedures; maintain department records and logs.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, confidentiality and code of conduct policies.
