Job summary

Hycroft Mining Holding Corporation seeks a Lab Superintendent to oversee the assay laboratory for exploration, resource development, and mine operations in Nevada. You will restart and commission the lab, manage workflows, and deliver timely, high-quality analytical results while upholding safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include leading staffing, QA/QC programs, equipment maintenance, budgeting, and continuous improvement to reduce turnaround times and support drilling programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Geochemistry, Metallurgy, Geological Sciences, or a related scientific discipline.
• Advanced technical certifications or management training are considered an asset.
• Minimum 8 years in mining, commercial, or metallurgical labs.
• Minimum 3 years in a supervisory or management role.

Responsibilities

• Lead startup and commissioning of the assay laboratory following inactivity.
• Oversee sample preparation, crushing, pulverizing, splitting, and assay workflows.
• Ensure analytical data meet turnaround targets and quality standards.
• Manage QA/QC programs, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Recruit, train, and supervise laboratory personnel.
