Job summary

M&H Valve Company, a Birmingham, AL-based manufacturer, is seeking a production operator to operate the core machine from setup through racking, ensuring quality systems meet customer requirements and maintaining a clean production area.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, adherence to PPE protocols, and the ability to follow detailed job instructions to produce castings efficiently and safely.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Ensure personal and team safety at all times.
• Maintain a clean, safe production area and follow PPE guidelines.
• Set up and operate the core machine from start to finish.
• Inspect and prepare cores and materials to meet customer specifications.
• Report production quantities and times for each work order.
