Job summary

M&H Valve Company, part of McWane, Inc., is seeking a production operator to manage the core machine from setup through racking while ensuring quality and cleanliness of the production area. The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds and adherence to PPE protocols.

The ideal candidate will read and follow work orders, perform routine inspections, and assist in related duties to maintain efficient production and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to read work orders and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate the core machine from setup to racking and ensure quality systems meet customer specs.
• Maintain a safe, clean and healthy work environment; follow PPE requirements.
• Inspect cores for defects and pack sand into core boxes, repairing when needed.
• Load cores into ovens and transport finished cores to storage or molding areas.
• Report production quantities and times for each work order.

Education
