M&H Valve Company in Anniston, AL is hiring a manufacturing operator to run core machines from setup to rack, ensuring quality and cleanliness in production areas. You will lift up to 50 pounds, assist in duties as assigned, and follow safety procedures to protect yourself and your team.

The role requires reading and following work orders, operating pneumatic tools and hoists, inspecting cores, and maintaining equipment with attention to safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, memos, and short correspondence.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to add/subtract, multiply/divide with tens and hundreds, and compute percentages.
• Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure personal safety and the safety of teammates.
• Follow work orders and set up the core box and machine as directed.
• Operate hoists and related equipment and inspect equipment daily.
• Load, inspect, and ship cores or finished products per procedures.
• Keep work areas clean and report wear or damage to supervision.
• Adhere to PPE requirements and maintain safe working conditions.
