Job summary

Mission Federal Credit Union in San Diego seeks a Core Processor App Dev - Azure Cloud and AI Developer to design, build, deploy, and support cloud-native apps within Azure, leveraging AI capabilities.

You'll work with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Services, ML, Copilot tech, and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring secure, scalable solutions for member and employee experiences in a regulated financial services environment. Bachelor's + 3+ years in development required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of application development experience.
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience developing or supporting solutions within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and support cloud-native applications within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
• Build AI-powered solutions using Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Services, Azure Machine Learning, and approved LLM technologies.
• Create secure integrations between Azure applications, Symitar core systems, and enterprise platforms through APIs and modern integration technologies.
• Drive intelligent automation initiatives that improve efficiency, user experiences, and operational effectiveness.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation using Azure DevOps.
• Partner with business stakeholders, Product Owners, Scrum teams, and technical teams to transform business needs into impactful solutions.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities for innovation, modernization, and process improvement.
• Ensure applications are secure, scalable, compliant, and optimized for performance in a regulated financial services environment.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, release planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Stay current on the latest Azure, AI, Copilot, and cloud development technologies.

• Financial services or regulated industry experience.
• Exposure to Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Copilot Studio, GitHub Copilot CLI, MCP, and Power Platform.
• ITIL certification.
