Job summary

Capital Group seeks a Core Operations Analyst in Charlotte to support the setup and ongoing maintenance of Retail, Institutional/Separate accounts, SMA products, and PCS client accounts.

You will become a broad SME across platforms like Aladdin, FX Connect, FXall, Tradeweb, MarketAxess, and DTCC ALERT, delivering accurate, scalable solutions while collaborating with custodians and CG teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of the financial services industry; experience supporting Retail and Institutional Separate accounts is a plus
• Comfortable learning primarily on the job through collaboration with peers, managers, and stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to think innovatively and leverage relationships to navigate complex and ambiguous situations across multiple CG teams
• Strong ability to balance business needs and client expectations, delivering efficient, scalable solutions while maintaining a customized client experience
• Exceptionally well organized, with experience managing fast‑paced work involving broad internal and external stakeholders
• Passion for continuous improvement, including enhancing, creating, and documenting processes to support knowledge transfer and business continuity
• Willingness and flexibility to work overtime as business needs require.

Responsibilities

• Support setup and ongoing maintenance of Capital Group’s Retail products, Institutional/Separate accounts, SMA products, and PCS client accounts.
• Develop into a broad subject matter expert across key platforms within the team’s remit, including Aladdin, DTCC ALERT, FX Connect, FXall, Tradeweb, and Market Axess.
• Serve as a primary reviewer for the Account Enablement space, applying a meticulous, risk‑aware mindset to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to standards across all work.
• Research, diagnose, and resolve operational issues with precision and consistency, leveraging systems and data.
• Lead centralized operational issue triage and resolution, working with custodian banks, third‑party providers, client‑facing partners, and Capital Group teams.
