Job summary

CA Lawton is seeking reliable individuals to join the Core Room as Core Makers. You will produce sand cores used in grey and ductile iron castings for mining, marine, HVAC, and oil & gas sectors. Training is provided, and you’ll work 5:30 AM–2:00 PM, with overtime as needed.

Starting pay is $22.52 per hour, with a fixed weekly schedule and benefits after a short period. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to lift up to 50 lbs in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operating core-making equipment.
• Loading and unloading core boxes.
• Inspecting cores for quality and accuracy.
• Trimming, repairing, and assembling cores as needed.

• Monitoring sand and binder systems.
• Performing basic equipment cleaning and maintenance.
• Following all safety and quality standards.
