Job summary

Qualifications

• Four to six years full-time experience as a medical technologist in a clinical laboratory.
• NYS License required.
• ASCP Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee department activities, distribute work, determine priorities, and schedule non-routine procedures.
• Perform supervisory duties including interviewing, hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
• Perform advanced/specialized tests and related laboratory techniques; re-evaluate methodologies as needed.
