Job summary

Zoetis Reference Laboratories is seeking a detail-oriented Lab Assistant to support core lab operations in the United States. You will accession specimens, ensure accurate data entry into the LIMS, verify labeling, and help route materials to appropriate departments while complying with SOPs and safety protocols.

Responsibilities include preserving specimen integrity, maintaining clean workspaces, supporting inventory and logs, and assisting with training and ad-hoc projects as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• 1+ years in a clinical laboratory setting preferred.
• 1-2 years data entry experience preferred.
• Medical background or terminology knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accession specimens and data into the LIMS with accuracy.
• Perform labeling verification and organize workflow routing between departments.
• Handle, store, and ship specimens per SOPs and safety rules.
