Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains sophisticated lab equipment.
• Assists in developing new core procedures.
• Ensures lab adheres to regulatory policies.
• Maintains lab results and records in notebooks or databases.
• Follows Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Manages inventory and ordering; verifies receipts.
• Performs QA/QC and basic equipment maintenance; liaises with service engineers.
• Learns new software, cloud tools, and databases.
• Keeps organized laboratory notebooks for all procedures.
• Trains with senior staff on specialized molecular genetics platforms.
