Job summary

Eaton in Nacogdoches, TX seeks a Core Fabricator for 2nd shift to operate and support core manufacturing processes. You will set up wrapping machines, load materials, and ensure cores meet exact specifications while following safety and quality procedures.

Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs, work in hot environments, and adhere to PPE and 5S+ practices. Overtime may be required, and a strong attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be within a 50-mile radius of the Nacogdoches, TX facility.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration or visa programs.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently manage work centers, including core former, deblock, georg, and tranco.
• Follow production schedules to ensure timely execution of core manufacturing processes.
• Set up and operate core wrapping machines, adhering to specifications for core items.
• Load rolls of core steel onto the dereeler and wrap cores on the mandrel to meet dimensional requirements.
• Mark cores with identification numbers and apply a steel band around the circumference.
