Job summary

OURCU is seeking a Core Automation Specialist to automate and optimize the systems powering our credit union. You will design, implement, and maintain automations, integrate APIs, and streamline repetitive tasks to improve accuracy and member experience.

You will partner with departments to understand business needs, own your automation domain, and continuously improve solutions while ensuring security and stability across core systems.

  • Design, build, maintain, and support automations to improve processes across OURCU.
  • Develop scripts and integrations using APIs and scripting languages to reduce manual work.
  • Administer and support the financial core system and related applications.
  • Serve as a technical consultant to improve workflows through automation and system enhancements.
  • Collaborate with business units, vendors, and partners to implement new functionality and maintain integrations.
  • Perform upgrades, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance ensuring security and stability.
  • Document new processes and automation solutions for easy maintenance.
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities while handling support requests and changing needs.

What You'll Do

As our Core Automation Specialist, you'll serve as one of the technical experts responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and automating the systems that keep OURCU running efficiently. You'll partner with departments throughout the organization to understand business needs, identify opportunities for automation, and implement solutions that improve accuracy, efficiency, and the overall member experience.

In This Role, You'll
  • Design, build, maintain, and support automations that improve business processes across the credit union.
  • Develop scripts and integrations using APIs and modern scripting languages to reduce manual work and improve operational efficiency.
  • Administer and support our financial core system and related applications, ensuring reliable day-to-day operation.
  • Serve as a technical consultant for departments looking to improve workflows through automation and system enhancements.
  • Collaborate with business units, vendors, and third-party partners to implement new functionality and maintain existing integrations.
  • Perform system upgrades, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance while ensuring system security and stability.
  • Document new processes, automation solutions, and technical procedures so they can be easily understood and maintained.
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities while responding to operational support requests and changing business needs.
