Job summary

Consolidated Precision Products Corp in Bloomington, MN, is seeking a full-time assembler for precision assembly of aerospace components. The role requires working 3–11:30 pm, with overtime as needed, and includes training and potential for certifications.

• Form and assemble cores around patterns and position in mold using hand tools.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and comply with safety and environmental policies.

What will you do?

• Organizes copes, drags, pipe parts, cores, hand tools, etc., necessary to complete assigned assembly jobs and checks all available documentation (travelers, special instructions, etc.) which is available.
• Prior to performing assembly operations, cleans pipe parts, etc., using hand tools as well as clean up all rough surfaces with mud, paste, etc., and blows with air hose to remove excess sand
• Performs assembly operations according to established close dimensional requirements using necessary fixtures.
• Inspects all copes, drags, pipe parts, cores, hand tools, etc., prior to cleaning and assembling and scraps materials which are damaged or unusable to minimize production delay and rework.
• Form and assemble cores around patterns and position in mold using hand tools and glue.
• Acquire additional certifications and credentials as required for work or career development
• Maintain a clean, organized work area
• Comply with all safety, DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures
• Ability to work at the Bloomington facility
• Work on/participate in special projects as needed or assigned by Management
• Level of Assembler is based on completed quality training of complex molds
