Responsibilities

• Receive, organize, and prepare specimens for laboratory testing.
• Review labeling and accompanying documentation for accuracy.
• Identify and help resolve specimen or documentation issues.
• Maintain stock of laboratory supplies and equipment.
• Transport specimens and blood components per procedures.
• Perform routine quality control checks on Cord Blood equipment.
• Assist with storage and retrieval of cord blood units and samples.
• Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements.
