Job summary

LifeSouth Community Blood Centers in Gainesville, FL seeks a Cellular Therapies Logistics Specialist to manage data integrity and workflow for cord blood and cellular therapy products, including procurement, handling, storage, and shipment.

You will maintain spreadsheets and databases, generate reports for internal and external customers, and oversee logistics for cellular therapy products used in research; including product inventory management. The role may require overtime and weekends.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in data or inventory management in a lab, blood bank, or research environment preferred.

LifeSouth is a non-profit community blood bank serving more than 150 hospitals in Alabama, Florida, Georgia and Tennessee. We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented, and team-focused individual to join our team as a Cellular Therapies Logistics Specialist in Gainesville, FL.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing data integrity and workflow related to the procurement, handling, storage, and shipment of cord blood and cellular therapy products.

Key responsibilities include maintaining spreadsheets and databases, generating reports and communications for both internal and external customers, and overseeing logistics for cellular therapy products used in research; including product inventory management. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid driver’s license required; must meet and maintain LifeSouth driver’s eligibility requirements
• Prior experience in data or inventory management in a laboratory, blood bank and/or research environment preferred
• May be expected to work various hours, which may include overtime and/or working weekends
• Proficient in MS Office and basic computer skills
• Strong comprehension of written, oral, and visual instructions
• Ability to multitask and work independently
• Organized with strong record-keeping skills
• Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills
