LifeSouth Community Blood Centers in Gainesville, FL is seeking a Cord Blood Collections Manager to lead cord blood collection operations, staff leadership, hospital relationships, and outreach within the Cellular Therapies program. Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with SOPs, quality standards, regulatory requirements, and documentation procedures.

• Support donor recruitment efforts, outreach initiatives, presentations, and community events.
• Assist with audits, inspections, reporting, and quality improvement activities.
• Review operational reports, supply requests, inventory needs, and departmental documentation.
• Collaborate with internal leadership teams to support the success of the Cellular Therapies program.

LifeSouth Community Blood Centers is looking for an experienced and motivated individual to join our team as a Cord Blood Collections Manager in Gainesville, FL.

This position oversees cord blood collection operations, staff leadership, hospital relationships, and outreach initiatives supporting the LifeSouth Cellular Therapies program.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a business or healthcare-related field; Master’s degree preferred
• Three years of management or supervisory experience required
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to build relationships with hospitals, physician offices, donors, and community partners
• Ability to manage multiple projects and operational priorities effectively
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office applications
• Valid driver’s license required and must meet LifeSouth driver eligibility requirements
• Previous sales, recruitment, outreach, and/or healthcare experience preferred
• Knowledge of regulatory, quality, and compliance standards preferred
