Job summary

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in a science-related field and at least 1 year of aquaculture or natural sciences experience.
• Strong organizational, communication and time management skills.
• Experience operating and repairing various equipment and machinery.
• Experience with saltwater aquariums or coral husbandry is preferred.
• Willingness to work outside normal hours and hold a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain coral aquaculture systems and perform routine seawater testing.
• Collaborate with aquaculture team to support coral restoration tasks and logging.
• Assist program staff, partners, and facility users; support manual labor projects including plumbing and tool use.
• Keep comprehensive logs of system parameters and coral health evaluations.
