At Phantom, we're pioneering the future of self-custodial wallets and shaping the way users interact with crypto. We are looking for a talented and creative Copywriter to join our Growth team. As a key member of our team, you’ll craft compelling and impactful copy that brings our brand to life across all channels. Your work will engage and inspire our global community, helping users understand and embrace Phantom the next generation of digital finance.

This is a general opening - based on your fit and marketing experience you could be working on projects across product, partnerships, brand, content, influencer, and experiential marketing. There will be a lot of space to conceive, own and drive initiatives - with 15M MAU, Phantom is a rare opportunity to impact the web3 experience of people at scale.

Responsibilities
  • Lead creative development of impactful copy, concepts, and campaigns across both product and brand marketing, ensuring alignment with our brand voice, tone, and creative direction.

  • Create high-quality marketing copy for all digital channels including website, email, social media, push notifications, in-app communications, blogs, newsletters, and press releases.

  • Generate innovative content ideas and conceptualize creative campaigns that drive brand engagement and align with business goals, ensuring that each piece of content is strategically designed to capture attention and deliver measurable impact across all channels.

  • Ensure brand consistency by maintaining our tone of voice across all communications, fostering a cohesive and unified user experience.

  • Oversee quality control to ensure messaging meets the highest standards, and optimize processes for efficiency and productivity to meet company-wide copy needs.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including product, design, and engineering) to develop narratives that engage audiences and align with Phantom’s broader strategic vision.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, audience insights, and competitive landscape to ensure our messaging stays relevant, fresh, and innovative.

  • Use data-driven insights to optimize copy performance and refine messaging, ensuring maximum impact and user engagement.

  • Adapt quickly to changes in business needs and audience preferences, ensuring the copy reflects evolving trends and demands.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience as a Copywriter or in a similar creative role, with a strong portfolio that demonstrates excellence in writing for digital marketing and brand communications.

  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail, tone, and voice.

  • Strong ability to adapt copy across different formats while maintaining consistency.

  • Excellent communication and storytelling abilities to convey product benefits effectively

  • Understanding of marketing principles and digital marketing tactics

  • Familiarity with data analytics tools and performance metrics to refine messaging.

  • Experience in the cryptocurrency, fintech, or tech industry is a plus, but not required.

  • A passion for creativity and innovation, with a solid understanding of how compelling storytelling drives engagement and action.

  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
