Job summary

Protect Life Michigan is seeking a Marketing team member to assist the Director of Marketing with email campaigns and writing projects. You will craft professional copy for emails and other materials and help maintain the organization’s style guide and branding.

You will research trends, support event marketing, and collaborate to ensure consistent messaging across channels while working from home with a semi-flexible schedule. A one-year commitment is encouraged as part of this role.

Qualifications

• Strong ability to communicate effectively in writing.
• Positive attitude, attention to detail, and ability to organize effectively.

About the role

Protect Life Michigan is seeking a hardworking, innovative, and vision-driven individual to join our Marketing Team as an integral member. This individual will assist the Director of Marketing with email marketing and other writing and communication projects as assigned.

What you'll do

• Support the Director of Marketing through the writing of professional copy for Protect Life Michigan emails, and occasionally for posts, brochures, websites, handouts, and more.
• Research relevant trends and apply them to Protect Life Michigan’s email marketing content and strategy.
• Assist in maintaining Protect Life Michigan’s language & style guide

Support Raising

• Protect Life Michigan is a support-raising organization. The salary and all expenses associated with this position will be fundraised by the candidate**.**Protect Life Michigan will provide training and coaching in order to help the candidate reach full support and will pay the candidate while they raise support. We have an excellent track record of helping job candidates reach full support: 85% of our candidates have reached full support within 2-3 months.
• You will complete support raising prep work over the first 1-3 weeks, then you will attend a support raising bootcamp around week 4 of your employment with PLM. Subsequently, you will spend the next 6-13 weeks support raising before beginning your job duties.
