The Copywriter conceptualizes and executes marketing materials and promotional copy for all marketing channels, including print, web, email, digital, video, and social media. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and can work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Key ResponsibilitiesWrites and edits a broad range of strategic and engaging copy, including emails, print and digital ads, brochures, web content, posters, sales tools, video scripts, articles and event materialsCollaborates with art directors, designers, and other writers to develop creative concepts that meet marketing objectives and brand requirementsStudies products and services to understand key selling features that promote the brandManages work and communicates about project status in team meetings and project management softwareParticipates and contributes to brainstorming sessionsInteracts with stakeholders to discuss their needs and objectives, and helps solve creative challengesPresents concepts to internal team in an engaging and effective wayUtilizes a library of reference materials to ensure accuracy of all claimsOrganizes workload and exercises efficient time management to meet multiple deadlines on time
Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s Degree with a focus in Journalism, Marketing, or Communications3+ years of experienceAbility to execute for all media platformsExcellent written communication, editing and proofreading skillsConceptual thinker with a diverse writing and creative styleDemonstrates a solid understanding of branding and product marketingStrong organizational skillsCommanding presentations skillsFlexible, adaptable, resourceful and proactive, with an ability to meet deadlines with changing priorities

For full-time positions, Kaplan has three salary grades. This position is
Salary Grade A
: $31,200 to $78,647. The specific compensation offered will be determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, relevant experience, education, skills, and market data.
