Ladders is seeking a Head of Engineering Services to lead a high‑growth engineering services function in a highly regulated life sciences setting. Remote work is available while driving revenue growth, margin performance, and project success across customer engagements.

You will shape strategy, oversee delivery, and partner with internal and external stakeholders to align offerings with client needs and industry standards, including FDA and ISO compliance.

For our client, we are seeking a Head of Engineering Services to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space.

This role will shape the strategy, performance, and growth of a specialized engineering services function within a highly regulated life sciences environment. The position combines commercial leadership, operational oversight, and hands‑on delivery accountability across customer engagements and service offerings. You will partner closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive revenue growth, margin performance, and successful project outcomes.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $135,000 – $265,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Define and manage service line offerings and go-to-market strategy
• Oversee annual P&L, including revenue growth and margin targets
• Lead project work as a Subject Matter Expert and project manager
• Ensure project delivery meets customer and organizational goals
• Support lead generation and contract scope assessment activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical STEM discipline
• 15+ years in a GMP-regulated environment managing service line projects
• 10+ years in professional services and consulting
• 7+ years in business development and customer relations
• Expert knowledge of FDA regulations and ISO standards
