Job summary

Orchard Pointe at Arrowhead is seeking a friendly Concierge to warmly greet residents and visitors, manage calls, and provide essential office support. You will help keep the lobby presentable, assist with records and training materials, and contribute to a safe, well-organized community environment.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in concierge or senior living settings, strong communication skills, and the discretion to handle confidential information.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year concierge or similar experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and direct calls to the appropriate person or department.

What You’ll Do:

As a Concierge, you’ll play a hands-on role in improving the lives of our residents by:

• Greeting and directing visitors, and managing all incoming phone calls, transferring them to the appropriate person or department.
• Providing comprehensive administrative support to the business office, including mail and delivery management, faxing, scanning, and preparing training materials and schedules.
• Maintaining the reception area to ensure it is always clean, tidy, and welcoming for all residents, visitors, and associates.
• Assisting with community readiness for inspections by maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with policies and emergency preparedness.
• Building positive relationships with residents, their families, and team members.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

• Flexibility to work evening shifts (until 8:00 PM), weekends, and holidays as required.
• 1+ year of experience in a concierge role (preferred).
• 1+ year of experience in a senior living or related industry (preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse groups, navigate challenging situations, and make sound decisions.
• Strong technical skills (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the ability to maintain confidential and privileged information (including HIPAA, residents, and associates).
