Sifted is hiring a catering host/server to manage an in-office lunch program from Monday through Thursday. You will create a pop-up vibe, tell the story of the menu, and ensure every client staff member is delighted with the experience.

This on-site role emphasizes guest interaction, fast-paced event handling, and brand representation while enabling growth within the team. Requires ServSafe card and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Customer service mindset required; experience in food service preferred but not required.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage fast-paced events.
• Comfort with interacting with guests and representing the brand.

Responsibilities

• Manage the lunch experience at the client site and ensure every staff member is delighted.

Schedule : Monday - Thursday // 10:30am-1:30pm

Brands who want to treat their staff to chef-made, hand-delivered lunches hire Sifted to provide a daily or weekly lunch in their office.

Sifted is hiring a customer experience-minded professional to serve lunch and manage the on-site experience at our clients’ locations.

The ideal candidate is interested in pop‑up events and values all the elements that contribute to an out‑of‑this‑world event experience.

This particular position does not require a vehicle or the ability to drive.

What you'll be doing

• Managing the Sifted lunch experience at the client’s location and ensuring every staff member is delighted
• Creating an inspired, pop‑up vibe in the client’s office using branded butcher paper and creativity
• Telling the story of the menu and featured ingredients through branded messaging on the paper
• Collecting feedback including specific metrics and report back to the Community Manager
• Suggesting ways to increase efficiency and improve the experience
• Has some food service experience, but not required
• Is detail oriented and looks for ways to have a positive impact on the customer experience
• Loves working fast‑paced events and interacting with guests
• Enjoys building the Sifted brand and looks forward to representing it
• Is open to feedback and appreciates opportunities to improve personally and professionally
• Compensation : $25/hr

The pay range for this role is:

25 - 25 USD per hour (San Francisco, California)
