Job summary

Sifted is seeking a customer-experience motivated professional to deliver and serve lunch at client sites, managing the on-site experience from kitchen pickup to staff delivery. The role supports a pop-up vibe and branded storytelling around the menu.

Ideal candidates enjoy fast-paced events, value guest interaction, and are eager to grow with Sifted. Compensation is $25/hr plus PTO, 401(k) eligibility after six months, and other benefits, with on-site work in Redwood City, CA.

Responsibilities

• Manage the on-site lunch experience at the client location to delight staff.
• Meet with the culinary team to learn the menu, pick up lunches, and deliver to the office.
• Create a pop-up vibe in the office with branded materials and messaging.
• Tell the menu story and highlight featured ingredients through branding on paper.
• Collect feedback with metrics and report to the Community Manager.
• Identify ways to improve efficiency and guest experience.
• Engage with guests and represent the Sifted brand.
• Support a fast-paced events environment and be open to feedback.

Schedule : Monday - Thursday 7am - 3pm
Sifted set out to reimagine the office lunch hour, creating a data-driven experience that's designed for destination workplaces. Today, Sifted creates experiential lunch programs for high-growth, culture-centric companies. Brands who want to treat their staff to chef-made, hand-delivered lunches hire Sifted to provide a daily or weekly lunch in their office.

Sifted is hiring a customer experience-minded professional to deliver + serve lunch and manage the on-site experience at our clients’ locations.

The ideal candidate is interested in pop-up events and values all the elements that contribute to an out-of-this-world event experience.

This position requires use of a personal vehicle, a valid drivers' license, and current automobile insurance.

What you'll be doing

• Managing the Sifted lunch experience at the client’s location and ensuring every staff member is delighted
• Meeting w/ the culinary team at the kitchen to learn the menu, pick up lunch and deliver to the client’s office
• Creating an inspired, pop-up vibe in the client’s office using branded butcher paper and creativity
• Telling the story of the menu and featured ingredients through branded messaging on the paper
• Collecting feedback including specific metrics and report back to the Community Manager
• Suggesting ways to increase efficiency and improve the experience
• Has some food service experience, but not required
• Is detail oriented and looks for ways to have a positive impact on the customer experience
• Loves working fast-paced events and interacting with guests
• Enjoys building the Sifted brand and looks forward to representing it
• Is open to feedback and appreciates opportunities to improve personally and professionally
• Compensation : $25/hr
• 24 hours of PTO per year; paid company holidays

Eligibility

This position must maintain ServSafe Food Handler card (company-paid); candidates must have a personal vehicle with a valid license and active insurance

Work environment

This is a position based both in a commercial kitchen and on-site in client offices

Physical requirements

This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, the ability to stand for long periods of time, and the ability to bend, squat, and reach

The pay range for this role is:

25 - 25 USD per hour (Redwood City, California)
