Job summary

Disney Cruise Line - The Walt Disney Company is seeking a Copy Coordinator to ensure the proper acquisition of all commercial content for the On-Air logs, collaborating with Agencies, Sales, and Inventory teams to keep data accurate and up to date.

You will support traffic operations, apply commercial copy per agency instructions, coordinate Sponsorship placements, and help resolve copy issues to maximize inventory while working with BS&P for air approvals.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in television traffic, broadcast operations, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with computer systems, business applications, and digital tools in a professional environment.
  • Experience with clerical functions and accurate data entry.
  • Working knowledge of traffic systems and Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and business units.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment and perform effectively under pressure.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude, adaptability, and a willingness to embrace change.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Agencies and Sales departments on managing and maintaining the accuracy of all traffic commercial copy data.
  • The application of commercial copy by adhering to Agency instructions and any specification schedules provided by Sales Administration.
  • Work closely with Sales/Marketing for all Sponsorship accommodations to ensure the accurate placement of spots and billboards.
  • Maintain and file all commercial instructions for assigned accounts.
  • Work closely with Inventory Manager and digital media providers in obtaining commercial delivery status.
  • Work closely with Sales to ensure advertiser accommodations are met.
  • Communicate and resolve copy related issues with Sales and management to maximize inventory.
  • Assist Traffic management with various departmental projects.
  • Works closely with BS&P to ensure spots are approved to air.

Content Platforms & Operations is responsible for the development and ongoing advancement of the technical and operational functions driving the worldwide distribution and monetization of Disney’s linear networks and theatrical content. This includes Disney’s media supply chain and storage, network and theatrical distribution operations, media localization, network transmission and origination, and more. The global team also plays a critical role as the primary collaboration point for Product & Technology with Disney’s EMEA, APAC, and LATAM regional business teams

Job Summary:

The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $49,000 to $59,800 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
