Job summary

Primoris Renewable Energy is hiring a Copperhead- Laborer Renewables (Non-driver) to support the construction and maintenance of solar and wind projects in Texas. You will assist skilled tradespeople, prep worksites, and help maintain a safe, efficient job site without operating company vehicles.

The role requires physical readiness, willingness to work outdoors in varying weather, and a strong commitment to following safety protocols while helping with material handling and site cleanup.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a construction or industrial labor role is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, bend and stoop.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions (hot, cold, rain, etc.).
• Reliable attendance and punctuality essential.
• Must work effectively as part of a team and follow safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Assist with assembly and installation of solar panels, wind turbine components, and other renewable energy infrastructure.
• Perform site cleanup and organization, including debris removal and material handling.
• Dig trenches, excavate foundations, and prepare ground for construction activities using hand tools.
• Load and unload materials and equipment, moving them to designated areas on the job site.
• Operate small hand tools and power tools as directed and trained.
• Follow all safety protocols and wear PPE at all times.
• Support skilled tradespeople with various tasks such as electricians, carpenters, and ironworkers.
• Assist with setup and dismantling of temporary structures and equipment.
• Perform other general labor duties as assigned by supervisors.

Job Responsibilities

• Dig trenches, excavate foundations, and prepare ground for construction activities using hand tools.

• Follow all safety protocols, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Support skilled craftspeople (e.g., electricians, carpenters, ironworkers) with various tasks.
