Job summary

Primoris Renewable Energy is seeking a Copperhead- Laborer Renewables (Non-driver) to support the construction and maintenance of renewable energy projects. You will assist skilled tradespeople, prepare worksites, and help maintain a safe, efficient job site.

The role involves performing physically demanding tasks—lifting up to 50 lbs—outdoor work in heat, cold, or rain—and collaborating with electricians, carpenters, and ironworkers.

Qualifications

• Previous construction or industrial labor experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions (hot, cold, rain, etc.).
• Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions from supervisors.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to all site-specific safety regulations.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
• Must be able to work effectively as part of a team.
• No driver’s license required for this specific role.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the assembly and installation of solar panels, wind turbine components, and other renewable energy infrastructure.
• Perform general site cleanup and organization, including debris removal, sweeping, and material handling.
• Dig trenches, excavate foundations, and prepare ground for construction activities using hand tools.
• Load and unload materials and equipment, moving them to designated areas on the job site.
• Operate small hand tools and power tools as directed and trained.
• Follow all safety protocols, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Support skilled craftspeople (e.g., electricians, carpenters, ironworkers) with various tasks.
• Assist with the setup and dismantling of temporary structures and equipment.
• Perform other general labor duties as assigned by supervisors.
