Job summary

Capstone Copper's Pinto Valley Mine in Arizona is hiring a Laboratory Technician to join the Processing - Lab team in Miami, AZ. The role focuses on preparing, weighing, and analyzing samples while maintaining safety and accuracy. You will work with SAP, Excel, LIMS, and other systems, ensuring compliance with MSHA and mine procedures.

A minimum of two years lab or mining lab experience is required. Capstone offers a comprehensive rewards package, strong safety culture, relocation options

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years mine or commercial laboratory experience.
• Knowledge of SAP, LIMS and MS Office tools is preferred.
• Ability to perform calculations and record results accurately.
• Valid Arizona Driver's License is preferred.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English at a professional level.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, dry, weigh, and analyze samples and record results accurately.
• Safely store and handle chemicals and reagents.
• Ensure lab work complies with Pinto Valley Mine and MSHA safety guidelines.
• Prioritize tasks to meet lab deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Support Capstone’s safety, accountability, caring, and excellence values.
