Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division seeks an ATS Assembler III - Copper Installer on the 2nd shift. The role focuses on assembly, complex wiring, and copper fabrication to produce MVC equipment subassemblies and final assemblies, ensuring all copper installations meet specifications and safety standards.

The position requires reading wiring diagrams, following bills of material, and performing inspections to verify electrical and mechanical performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• No immigration sponsorship or relocation provided; candidates within 50 miles considered.
• Experience with copper fabrication and electrical assembly is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Construct, assemble, and repair copper layouts and related components.
• Fabricate and install layout copper to support customer-specific connection requirements.
• Ensure copper connections are properly braced and comply with bracing specifications.
• Maintain electrical and mechanical clearances throughout the assembly process.
• Install and wire electrical devices according to BOMs, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Perform visual and functional inspections to verify quality and compliance with specifications.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Support continuous improvement efforts and perform other duties as assigned.
