Job summary

Blue United Sourcing LLC in Keyport, NJ, invites mechanically inclined individuals to join as Copper Fabricator Apprentices. The role offers paid on-the-job training, a path to Master Fabricator, and a benefits package including health and dental insurance, retirement plan, and PTO.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, day shift, with overtime opportunities. You will learn to read drawings, cut and braze copper tubing, and work on precision induction coils alongside experienced craftsmen, with advancement

Qualifications

Strong mechanical aptitude and enjoy troubleshooting, building, and fixing things.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced craftsmen.
Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
Comfortable with basic shop math (measurements, fractions, simple geometry).
Valid driver's license.
Lawful permanent resident or U.S. citizen.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

Learn to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints.
Cut, bend, and form copper tubing to precise dimensions using basic shop math and geometry.
Braise copper joints using an oxy-acetylene torch.
Assemble precision induction heating coils and components.
Follow strict quality control and inspection procedures.
Cross-train and assist with other builds on the shop floor as needed.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
