Job summary

Blue United Sourcing LLC in Keyport, NJ is seeking a Copper Fabricator Apprentice. You’ll train under a master fabricator to read blueprints, cut, bend, and braze copper tubing into precision coils on a Monday–Friday day shift.

This hands-on apprenticeship offers paid training, a substantial pay increase upon advancing to Master Fabricator, and a benefits package including health and dental insurance, sick days, PTO, and a retirement plan. Overtime opportunities may arise as you grow in the role.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and a hands-on troubleshooting mindset.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Willingness to learn from experienced craftsmen and take direction.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Comfort with basic shop math (measurements, fractions, simple geometry).
• Valid driver's license required.
• US citizenship or lawful permanent resident status required.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints.
• Cut, bend, and form copper tubing to precise dimensions using basic shop math.
• Braise copper joints with an oxy-acetylene torch.
• Assemble precision induction heating coils and components.
• Follow strict quality control and inspection procedures.
• Cross-train and assist with other builds on the shop floor as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
