This hands-on role focuses on copper fabrication, material handling, and quality checks in a fast-paced setting. You will operate equipment, move copper parts, prep for assembly, and document production activities.

The position emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork, with opportunities to cross-train across production areas and contribute to continuous improvement in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting preferred.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, blueprints, or basic technical drawings.
• Comfortable working with hand tools, power tools, and industrial machinery.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely and ergonomically.
• Team-oriented with willingness to cross-train and support different production areas.
• Dedication to safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to fabricate copper bus bars and components per work instructions.
• Move copper materials and parts to designated work areas using carts, hoists, or forklifts.
• Prepare copper parts for assembly including deburring and cleaning.
• Operate production equipment to shape, punch, or bend copper to spec.
• Complete production reports and ensure traceability of components.
• Perform basic quality checks on fabricated parts and report defects.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
