Job summary

UEI Group Services, Inc is seeking an Engraving Etcher for an evening shift from 1:00 pm to 9:30 pm. Training is provided, no previous experience required, and you will work in a safety-conscious environment handling etching chemicals.

You will measure chemicals, monitor baths, perform preventative maintenance, and inspect etched products for quality, maintaining detailed process records and a clean, compliant workspace.

Responsibilities

• Accurately measure and add chemicals to etching baths and sumps according to specifications.
• Monitor chemical levels and maintain optimal bath conditions for copper plate etching.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols when handling chemical substances.
• Assist with routine preventative maintenance procedures.
• Clean and maintain mechanical devices and hardware components.
• Support the replacement of non-precision mechanical equipment as needed.
• Inspect etched products for defects and verify conformance to process specifications.
• Identify and report any quality issues or process deviations.
• Maintain detailed records of chemical additions and process parameters.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Follow all OSHA and environmental regulations.

We have a great opportunity for a candidate who is detail-oriented and committed to accuracy in their work as an Engraving Etcher— no prior experience required, as we provide on-the-job training. Hours for this position are M–F, 1:00 pm to 9:30 pm.

In this role you will -
