Johnson Controls in Largo, FL is seeking a Brazer to perform brazing and welding tasks, primarily copper, to ensure conformance with specifications and production standards. You will read blueprints, follow SOPs, and maintain safety while supporting multiple departments to meet customer expectations.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to work with ERP systems, and readiness to train across department areas. This is a 1st shift on-site position with potential overtime as needed.

Formación

• Requires a high school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and six months of experience
• Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to read, communicate and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings in English

Responsabilidades

• Weld copper components using brazing techniques per instructions
• Read blueprints and shop orders to weld coil units
• Follow SOPs and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs)
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and comply with safety policies
• Collaborate with other departments to meet customer expectations
• Train on and perform in all areas of the department
