Johnson Controls in Largo, FL is seeking a skilled Brazer to join our HVAC components production team. You will perform brazing and testing operations to ensure copper systems and refrigerant integrity, contributing to high product quality and performance.
The role requires reading blueprints, following safety procedures, and training within 30 days. Overtime and cross-training are available to support production goals, with a comprehensive benefits package and growth opportunities.
We are currently hiring 1st Shift. Available schedules include: 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (Monday - Friday + Saturday OT as needed
Pay: $19.18
Quarterly Bonus: Eligible for up to 5% of salary earned each quarter based on performance and business results
Overtime Pay: Available based on production needs (including Saturday as needed)

In this role, you will perform brazing and testing operations to ensure the integrity of copper components and refrigerant systems, contributing directly to product quality and performance.
Performs brazing operations to join metal components (primarily copper) using filler materials, ensuring strong, leak-free connections that meet quality standards and production requirements.
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and ERP systems.
The employee is regularly exposed to a manufacturing environment, including noise, dust, non-toxic fumes, heat from equipment, and moving machinery.
HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $19.18 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location, and alignment with market data.)
