Job summary

ZipStaff is seeking a Copilot Studio Developer for the AI Office Enablement group in Boston. The role involves designing and shipping Copilot Studio agents with business stakeholders, combining low-code development with governance and enablement.

This contract role requires strong consulting experience and executive-level collaboration in a regulated enterprise. Responsibilities include scoping use cases, building agents, templates, and playbooks, and ensuring governance and data protection

Qualifications

• 5+ years technical consulting, solutions engineering, business analysis, or low-code development.
• Hands‑on agents, bots, or workflows in Microsoft Copilot Studio (or Power Virtual Agents).
• Power Platform: Power Automate and Dataverse.
• 5+ years leading GenAI and machine‑learning initiatives.
• Generative AI, agentic AI, AI SDLC, cloud, and enterprise‑architecture fluency.
• Prompt engineering, RAG, and grounding agents on enterprise data.
• Work with Engineering, Cyber, Risk, Compliance, and Legal.
• One Microsoft associate cert: Copilot Studio Agent Maker Associate AB-610, or AI Agent Builder Associate AB-620, or Intelligent Applications Builder AB-410.

Responsibilities

• Advise on Copilot Studio capabilities, limits, and agent-design practices.
• Run discovery; scope use cases and feasibility.
• Design, build, and test low-code agents, topics, flows, and connectors; ground agents on enterprise knowledge.
• Own agents from scoping through demo, test, production, and maintenance.
• Build reusable templates, patterns, and playbooks.
• Coach business builders inside approved guardrails.
• Write plain-language walkthroughs for non-technical stakeholders.
• Keep agents inside AI-agent governance, data protection, and responsible-AI rules.
• Partner with Power Platform and Copilot admins on environments, roles, and ALM.
• Define success criteria and KPIs; help track adoption and impact.
• Recommend which POCs scale, optimize, or retire.

Employment Type: Contract (W2 through ZipStaff - No C2C or 1099)

About the Opportunity:

ZipStaff is seeking a Copilot Studio Developer for the AI Office Enablement group at a leading private banking and investment management firm in Boston.

You will design and ship Microsoft Copilot Studio agents with business stakeholders—low-code build plus consulting, governance, and enablement. This is not a generic ChatGPT prompt role.

What You’ll Do:

• Advise on Copilot Studio capabilities, limits, and agent-design practices.
• Run discovery; scope use cases and feasibility.

• One required Microsoft associate cert (include Credential ID):
  • Copilot Studio Agent Maker Associate (AB‑610), or
  • AI Agent Builder Associate (AB‑620), or
  • Intelligent Applications Builder Associate (AB‑410)
• Ability to work on‑site in Boston, MA.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Financial services, asset management, or another regulated industry.
• Structured POC/pilot programs with leadership reporting.
• Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Graph connectors, M365 knowledge sources.
• Citizen-developer coaching.
• PL‑900 or Agentic AI Business Solutions Architect (AB‑100).
• GitHub Copilot, Azure AI Foundry, or Claude Code.
• Enterprise adoption / change management.
