The Service Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations of the West Valley Housing Assistance Center (WVHAC), a community resource hub that provides housing navigation, community resource connections, and seasonal heat relief services. The Service Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for visitors, coordinates intake and referrals, supports on-site partner agencies, maintains client-level data, and ensures the center operates in a safe, organized, and welcoming manner. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of community resources, housing and homeless service systems, experience working with diverse populations, and the ability to build collaborative relationships with community partners. The Service Coordinator required to complete the responsibilities of the position on-site and in the community as needed.
Ensures the West Valley Housing Assistance Center maintains a safe, clean, organized, and welcoming environment for visitors, staff, volunteers, and community partners.
Must have or obtain a food handlers card within the first 30 days of employment and maintain certification throughout employment.
