General Description

Metro Technology Centers is accepting applications for a Coordinator, Workforce Development who will be responsible for working collaboratively with team members and ensuring a professional, client-focused experience. The coordinator will meet and greet adjuncts and clients, verify the accuracy of training details, and ensure client contracts and training spaces align with training needs. This role also ensures that clients have completed the enrollment process and provides assistance as needed. The coordinator must be proficient in Microsoft platforms, including Word and Excel. Must meet reporting deadlines. Strong communication skills, technology proficiency, and public speaking are required.

General Qualification Requirements
Education/Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in education, curriculum, business, communications, health, training and development, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in student and client relations/education, enrollment, training coordination, or administrative support

(Above requirements may be met by equivalent combination of education and experience)

Representative Duties
Client and Business/Industry Engagement
  • Work closely with business partners, workforce development teams, and internal stakeholders to identify training needs.
Training/Course Logistics and Compliance
  • Primary project manager for training logistics, enrollment, scheduling, securing locations, and managing course materials.
  • Uses or is willing to learn EventPro (virtual booking system) for managing training sessions and events
  • Ensure training rooms and event spaces are set up according to specifications.
  • Work closely with various district departments, including site leaders, conference services, catering, and security, to coordinate training logistics.
  • Collaborate with Business Development Liaison and Program Developers to create and market impactful training programs aligned with industry standards and certifications.
  • Verify the accuracy of training information, including client contracts, to ensure all requirements are met.
Enrollment and Contract Management
  • Using district software to build classes/sessions for enrollment.
  • Ensure clients and students complete the enrollment process and provide assistance as needed through the online client/student information system, Enrole.
  • Follow established enrollment processes and provide support throughout the client/student journey.
Collaboration and Communication
  • Welcomes and engages with adjuncts and clients professionally, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Engages in public speaking as needed to support training and client interactions.
  • Engage with community contacts and internal departments (including Student Services and Marketing) to promote new class offerings.
  • Communicates clearly and professionally, utilizing Outlook/TEAMS and calendar tools.
Data Management and Reporting
  • Meet reporting deadlines and ensure timely submission of required documentation.
  • Use Microsoft Word and Excel proficiently to manage documents, reports, and training records.
  • Conduct research and perform data analysis to understand workforce trends and predict future training needs.
  • Track program performance through data collection and analysis to measure effectiveness.
Operational Responsibilities
  • Maintains office services by opening and closing campus facilities and greeting clients and visitors. Provides tours and campus information to potential clients.
  • Manage ordering of training supplies and curriculum while maintaining budget oversight.
  • Ensure training spaces are properly set up to meet instructional requirements.
  • Attends work regularly following a designated work schedule. Must be able to work extended hours and additional days/evenings as required by position responsibilities.
Other Responsibilities
  • Maintain professional dress code/professionalism in all client and team interactions.
  • Attend meetings, conferences, and professional development sessions as required.
  • Stay informed about workforce development trends, content development initiatives, and emerging industry standards.
  • React productively to change and handle additional duties as assigned.
Working Conditions

Must be able to attend and participate in meetings, work flexible shift hours as needed, and handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
