Job summary

Rise Services Inc. in Utah is seeking a full-time Coordinator to support adults with developmental disabilities or mental health needs in a Residential Home. The role directs programs, implements the mission, and ensures compliance with regulations.

You will collaborate with staff, supervise schedules, monitor budgets, and provide 1:1 behavioral intervention and skills acquisition as needed. On-call duties included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to problem solve.
• Knowledge of developmental disabilities/mental health needs preferred.
• Must pass background screening and have valid ID.

RISE Services, a nonprofit human services organization, is seeking a full-time Coordinator to provide support to adults with developmental disabilities or mental health needs in our Residential Home. The role directs and manages programs in the designated district/region area, implements the RISE mission, vision and values, and ensures compliance with regulations and policies. The coordinator models, teaches, and provides 1:1 direct behavioral intervention and skills acquisition to people we support.

Essential Job Functions

• Oversee daily operation and quality assurance of the program.
• Work as part of a team to strategize, create, and implement plans addressing the needs of individuals.
• Supervise, schedule, train, and work direct care hours alongside Direct Support Professionals.
• Prepare and monitor budgets, and coordinate with various state agencies.
• Schedule and ensure completion of activities and skill development goals; assist with social and community activities.
• Position includes being on-call.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or comparable supervisory experience preferred.
• Person-centered philosophy; dedication to quality supports for individuals; self-motivated, honest, dependable, and flexible.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to problem solve; able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Knowledge of developmental disabilities/mental health needs and related field experience preferred.
• Must have a valid ID and be able to pass a background screening.
