Job summary

The Producers Guild of America in Los Angeles seeks a detail‑driven Coordinator, Programs & Events to support the Guild’s screenings, ProducedByConference, and PGA Awards‑related events. You are highly organized, with 1–3 years in events or administrative coordination, a Bachelor’s degree preferred, and strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and execution of member screenings, networking events, committee-led events, and other programming from initial planning through post-event wrap-up.
  • Coordinate event logistics, including creating registration pages, sending e-blast invitations, managing registration lists and waitlists in real time, and supporting on-site operations to ensure a seamless member experience.
  • Serve as a staff representative at select in-person events and screenings, providing on-site coordination and support.
  • Manage event registration and attendance information and maintain accurate program records, trackers, and reporting.
  • Support a variety of member-facing programs, including committee-led events, networking opportunities, virtual panels and meetings, and annual special events.
  • Assist with the execution of PGA Awards-related events and other high-profile Guild programs throughout the year.
  • Support the end-to-end attendee experience for ProducedByConference, including registration and on-site operations, and assist with the coordination and oversight of event volunteers.
  • Provide support across the Programs & Events department as needed, adapting to shifting priorities and seasonal programming demands.
  • Monitor and respond to member inquiries in a timely and professional manner, ensuring questions are addressed or directed to the appropriate team member.
  • Maintain a broad understanding of Guild programs and activities to effectively support members and internal stakeholders.

About the Role

The Coordinator, Programs & Events provides vital support to the Programs & Events team across the Guild’s Official Screenings Program, PGA Awards-related events, ProducedByConference, committee-led events, networking events, and virtual meetings and webinars.

This role supports programs and events from initial planning through execution and post-event wrap-up, coordinating registration, attendee communications, event logistics, on‑site support, and program records. The Coordinator works closely with members, colleagues, volunteers, vendors, and other partners to help deliver thoughtful, well-organized experiences across the Guild’s programming.

Key Responsibilities

Compensation Range, Reporting Structure and Work Schedule
  • Compensation Range:$45,000-$50,000,commensurate with skills and experience.
  • This is a full‑time,non‑exempt position that reports to the Director of Programs & Events and the Associate Director, Screenings & Events
  • Work Location & Schedule: Los Angeles, CA. The Guild operates on a hybrid schedule, requiring in‑office presence Tuesday through Thursday, with remote work flexibility on Mondays and Fridays.
